The best way to achieve a straight look is to work with hair that is clean and free of old product residue. Unwashed hair will make your look appear to be weighed down and flat. Before you begin, wash your hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (I recommend adding a protein treatment to your regimen to strengthen your hair follicles). Now, roller set your hair and sit under the hooded dryer until your hair is dry. Take the rollers out, add your favorite heat protectant and flat iron your hair in small sections. Lastly, add a little coconut oil to your ends and style.

My hair isn't that fizzy but it's a little wavy and sometimes quite difficult to manage because it gets tangled very easily. I wish I have straight hair. When I was younger, I used to use Wellastrate to straighten my hair. It does the job very well. I just don't like the smell. I've heard about using the flat iron to straighten one's hair but I'm not really sure about how to go about doing it. Now I know how.
