How to count calories each meal?

I want my husband to go on a diet and watch his calorie intake. Is there a way for us to know how much calories each food has. Is there any chart of guide in knowing calories? We want to know this so he can watch his calorie intake and know how much calories he needs to burn to lose the excess weight. Hope someone can answer all of these for us.

I use a fantastic programme that not only counts calories but assesses the nutrition in your food and tells you what you need to eat more of. It will advise of the number of calories he would need each day and help to keep him on track. It also has an exercise tracker, recipes, support etc.

If you want to see it, there is one on the right hand column of my website www.weightlossanddietpills.co.uk It's called Diet Power. You can try it free for 15 days and then if you like it you just pay a fairly low one off fee. It also has a one year guarantee, so if it doesn't work for you, you can get your money back.

I've found it to be very helpful. You may find that just the free trial gives you enough information to get you on the right track without needing to go onto the paid version.

There are a number of calorie counters on the Internet that give calorie counts for foods, as well as calorie expenditure for all forms of exercise. Just Google 'free calorie calculators' and see what comes up. However, while all weight loss revolves around 'calories in and calories out,' if you get too taken up with calorie counting, your husband may get fed up with it all, which would be counterproductive.

Make it easy on yourself by incorporating lots of low calorie foods such as vegetables, cooked without fat, and limiting protein servings to recommended sizes, rather than full-on calorie counting. I'm sure you'll find it will work just as well, especially if he has a lot of weight to lose.
