Olive Oil is popular for its health benefits when cooking. Here are some other tips for the use of olive oil you may have not known.
Natural Pain Reliever - Olive oil contains an antioxidant called oleocanthal in it which is equivilant to Ibuprofen. Just 50 grams of extra-virgin olive oil equates to 10 percent of an ibuprofen dose.
Headaches - Again the Oleocanthal in the olive oil will sooth your headache. Add a teaspoon to your food for relieve.
Natural Anti-inflammatory - Two teaspoons a day over time will help with daily chronic pain.
Bacteria - Oil oil will slow the unwanted bacteria in the digestive tract which can lead to an upset stomach.
Skin moisturizer - When applied will act as a sealant to keep moisture in your skin.
Exfoliate - Rub olive oil and sea salts to exfoliate dry skin.
Dandruff control - After washing your hair add equal amounts of olive oil and water into your follicles. Shampoo and rinse again. Also good for dry hair and will leave a shine.
Additional Facts about Olive Oil - Olive oil has been used for centuries and centuries. In Ancient Rome pregnant women used it to prevent stretch marks while pregnant. In Ancient Greece women made eye shadow out of olive oil with charcoal.

This is an impressive list of things I never knew you could do with olive oil. Thanks so much for this. I see several places where I think I can implement some new uses for an old friend.
