    Healthy smoothie recipes

    Smoothies are full of protein which is a good way to start off your day. It will get you revved to start a productive day. Check out the recipe for this protein packed Strawberry Banana Smoothie.

    Mix together 1/2 cup of nonfat milk, 1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
    1/2 peeled and chopped frozen banana, 2 tbs protein powder
    1 1/2 tbs flax seed, 1 tsp honey, and 1/2 cup frozen strawberries.

    Great way to start the day and refreshing on a hot day also!!!

    I love smoothies. It's a great way to get me going in the morning...they are chock full of nutrients and generally taste great. I try to stick to fruit smoothies though and leave out the crazy spinach ones...I like my smoothies sweet. thanks for sharing this recipe...I will be making it in the morning.

    Great ideas.
    I also like to buy Weight Watchers smoothies.
    Their chocolate ones are good, as are their vanilla ones.
    You can put fruit in them.
    I sometimes mix milk, ice, a packet of WW chocolate smoothie, and strawberries. I blend them together and voila, I have a smoothie :D
