Tip for making your articles more search engine friendly
Most online writers are paid - at least in part - for page views. You'll pull in more page views if your articles are search engine friendly, so here's one way to do that. Be sure to include a key phrase in the first paragraph, and preferably in the first sentence. Think of topics that people are likely to search for, and then think of the search phrases they may use.
For example, if you are writing about a disease or condition, people may be looking for symptoms associated with that condition, so early in the first paragraph, you should include a phrase like 'these are some of the early symptoms of liver disease,' or whatever it is you're writing about.
Somebody told me about this a couple of years ago, and it's one of the best pieces of advice on Internet writing I've ever received. Since I put it into practice, my page view revenue has increased significantly. Try it yourself - it will soon become a habit.

Re: Tip for making your articles more search engine friendly
Many people ask why am I not receiving traffic to my blog or website? There's an answer for this, before you can put keywords in your articles, the first thing you should do is submit your site to Google.
There is a place you can go to submit your site and Google will index your website, and you should start to see an increase in traffic. When I first started my blog I was wondering how do I get readers, but I didn't know what I was supposed to do. You can submit your site to Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
The process is simple and it takes less than a minute to complete. Remember to submit your website once because anything more than that Google will flag it as spam. The indexing process takes about a couple of weeks before you will start to see some new traffic.
Give it some time and I assure you that if you have a high quality site, you should have no problem getting traffic. Since I submitted my site, I see a steady flow of visitors from the search engines, and my overall ranking has improved substantially. I have put the link so you can index your website https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url.

Well-put Sandra. This is one very important tip all writers should use to tell the search engine robots what your article is about. Search engine robots will see that if the first few words in your paragraph is similar to the search query, then the article will appear in the search result but whether it's on the first page or second page will depend on how competitive the keyword phrase is.

While you need keywords, do not keyword stuff. A good keyword density is 2%-4%. It should also fit naturally into the article. Search engines will blacklist articles they consider spam.

This is definitely a good point to follow. Just because keywords are important it doesn't mean that you should load your articles with them. If your articles are hosted on your own website or blog then I recommend you use Social Monkee in order to create backlinks to your website. Backlinks will significantly increase your page-rank on Google.

Just like keyword stuffing will be penalized by Google, getting too many backlinks too soon will also be frowned upon by Google. Recently, Google has announced that web pages that are too "SEO'd" will also be penalized. This means that Google doesn't like too many links too soon. It will be so unnatural to have too many links too soon. So using services that do link exchanges can be quite ill-advised.

I want to echo the sentiments above...you need to be careful using keywords when optimizing your content for search engines. Overuse of keywords will get you banned from Google's search results instead of boosting your rank. Backlinks works much the same way. These are older tactics that were used by sites to get more traffic, but with the newest Google changes, these are less effective. The best way to get trafffic to your site is the create well written, informative content that provides value to your audience.
